Research Themes
		The Institute of Creativity is a high-powered think tank and a rich wellspring of new ideas at the University.  Five interdisciplinary research themes have been initiated under the Institute. They are:
		development of new drugs based on Traditional Chinese Medicine; research on chemical technologies and new materials; Chinese classical learning and sinology; computational and theoretical studies; and cross-cultural studies.
		The University encourages faculty members to collaborate with local and overseas scholars and researchers in conducting frontier research. Research institutes in specific areas, comprising outstanding research teams with various areas of expertise, will also be set up in order to further enhance research strength.
